ArmInfo. Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova does not rule out a "3+2 meeting" of the OSCE MG co-chair countries` ministers with the Armenian and Azeri foreign ministers on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Meeting in Hamburg.
At a briefing on December 7, Zakharova said that the possibility of such a meeting is currently being discussed. "If such agreement is reached, the relevant information will be made public," she said.
Zakharova added that in Hamburg Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will meet on Dec 7 with US Secretary of State John Kerry and German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier. "Today the minister is leaving for Hamburg and will hold a number of bilateral meetings," she said, noting that he will also meet with the foreign ministers of the CSTO member states and hold bilateral negotiations with his counterparts from Armenia, Austria, Kazakhstan and Spain.
To recall, the OSCE MG Co-Chairs previously said that they were exerting efforts to organize a meeting of the Armenian and Azeri foreign ministers on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Meeting in Hamburg on Dec 8-9.
