Arrested  Defense Ex Deputy Minister addresses open letter to Armenian President 

ArmInfo. Vahan Shirkhanyan, the former Deputy Minister of Defense, sent an open letter to President Serzh Sargsyan. 

In the letter published by Zhoghovurd dailyShirkhanyan applies first  to media representatives, calling them "pioneers of internal front".  "If You give up this front, nothing will remain of Armenia. You  should be strong and brave," the prisoner calls out. 

Next he appeals to the President, calling only his first name:  "Serzh, you are the one who has been holding permanently all the  tools of power in this country, and the responsibility to set the  rule of law and justice.  But all this time you were busy not with  building the country, but with rising your own empire." According to  Shirkhanyan, the losses caused to the people by ruling authorities  could not be calculated in any of equivalents. "I don't want to tell   the truth about your transition from one post to another, this will  be dome later. You have finished building your empire, but the  opening will take place in 2017-18," Shirkhanyan states in his  letter. 

Next Shirkhanyan comes with his health problems, charges President  and his team in corruption, migration, poverty, elections  falsifications. He also states that despite he has occupied a  pretty  high position, two of his sons are unemployed, comparing own family  situation with the officials who have enriched working at their  posts, and states that sooner or later they will take his place in  the prison.

To remind, Vahan Shirkhanyan was arrested on December 19, 2015 due to  the criminal case in respect to the  armed group neutralized and  arrested in Yerevan district of Nork Maracsh. He is suspected in a  crime set forth by the Article 223 Clause 2 of the Criminal Code of  the Republic of Armenia.
