ArmInfo. Donald Trump's victory in elections in the USA may lead to changes in USA-Armenia relations and Washington's stand on Karabakh issue, Head of ARFD Bureau's Hay Dat and Political Affairs Office Kiro Manoyan told ArmInfo's correspondent.
The final results of the presidential elections in the USA have not been announced yet, however Republican Donald Trump's victory is almost evident, considering that he has already won 276 electoral votes, while Hillary Clinton got only 218. Almost 56.9 mln people have voted for Trump and 55.8 mln for Clinton. The candidate from Democrats has already congratulated Trump by phone. ''Talking about possible shifts regarding Armenia I first and foremost mean possible warming in relations between the USA and Russia. I think that in overall this will have positive impact on Armenia providing our authorities with more opportunities of political maneuvering between Moscow and Washington'', he noted.
At the same time the analyst expressed concerns related to possible warming in relations between the USA and Azerbaijan. According to him the US new President's interests in Azerbaijan and his ties with leadership of that country may lead to tangible changes in Washnigton's stand on Karabakh settlement.
