NKR Defense Army refutes Azerbaijan`s allegations that Armenian side escalates situation on frontline

ArmInfo. NKR Defense Army has disseminated a statement wherein it refutes Azerbaijan's allegations that the Armenian side escalates situation on the Line of Contact.

Azerbaijan not only continues to escalate the situation on the frontline regularly violating the ceasefire and attempting to penetrate into the territory of Karabakh, but also making provocations in the information field.

"In particular, Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's reports that the Armenian armed forces allegedly targeted the Azerbaijani positions with 60mm mortars, grenade launchers and heavy guns do not correspond to reality. The frontline units of the NKR Defense Army strictly observe the ceasefire and never initiate any offensive. By disseminating misreports, Azerbaijan is preparing ground to make more armed provocations," the NKR Defense Army says in the statement.
