ArmInfo. The global security system has been undermined, the big powers have terminated any contacts or cooperation in counteracting terrorism, illegal turnover of drugs and other challenges and threats. Nikolay Bordyuzha, CSTO Secretary General made such statement at a Roundtable "CSTO's Role in Strengthening Eurasian Security" in Yerevan on October 12.
"We live in very hard times that defies analysis. It is very hard to choose an algorithm of activity in the security field. We are facing paradoxical phenomena that should be comprehended," Bordyuzha said. For example, the CSTO Secretary General said, some countries come out for the need to fight terrorism at the same time arming terrorists groups.
"We speak of the need to fight illegal drugs turnover, but thousands tons of precursors are delivered to Afghanistan and tons of hard drugs are produced there. We can see that foreign ministers of the leading countries call for picketing the embassies of other countries. Actually, we see absolutely illogical schemes in the international relations," Bordyuzha said for conclusion.
