ArmInfo. The Parliament of Armenia is considering Tigran Mukuchyan's candidacy for the head of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).
Tigran Mukuchyan said that if he re-elected as the CEC head, he will focus on the transparency of the CEC's activities, active cooperation with the civil sector, international and local observation organizations, as well as with the mass media. He also stressed the need to use advanced technologies to enhance the public confidence in the CEC's work.
To note, Mukuchyan has been the head of the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia since 2011.
