

ArmInfo. Iranian citizen Hosein T. has filed a complaint, accusing the Armenian traffic police officer of bribe taking, the press-service of the Armenian Special Investigation Service (SIS) reports.
The man was stopped by the traffic police near Yerevan's Republic Square at about 11:30 pm on August 7 for the violation of traffic rules. The police officers agreed to not register his violation for a 400 bribe, According to the source. Criminal case had been launched based on Articles 312.2 (bribery in a large maount) and 311.3 (bribe taking in a large amount) of the Armenian Criminal Code. Investigation is underway.
