Founding Parliament demands explanation from state bodies related to explosions and shooting on territory of police station

 “Founding Parliament” has demanded explanation from state bodies related to explosions and shooting heard on the territory of the seized police station.

Explosions and gunshots are heard on the territory of Police station controlled by Daredevils of Sasoun, the inhabitants of nearby houses inform. At the same time the number of policemen and police cars is increasing near the territory.

«If we do not receive response in half an hour we will urge our citizens to take to Khorenatsi Street and demand explanations from policemen there”, the statement reads.

 Meanwhile, Head of the Public Relations and Information Office of the Police Ashot Aharonyan urged to follow only official statements.

 

“Daredevils of Sasoun” group continues to control the territory of the Police Patrol Service Regiment for already 15 days. The situation on the territory adjacent to the building was calm in the morning. From yesterday the streets adjacent to the building were cut off electricity. Meanwhile, yesterday gunshots were heard in this district. Protest of the supporters of Daredevils of Sasoun finished late at night yesterday at Baghramyan Avenue. To note, almost all the leaders of the protest movement have been arrested. However, the protesters said they are going to continue the protest on Liberty Square at 8:00 pm on July 31.
