 Protest of the opposition kicked off at Khorenatsi Street near the seized building of the Police Patrol Service Regiment.  The Deputy Chairman of the Heritage Party Armen Martirosyan stated that soon the people will celebrate victory with their heroes from "Daredevils of Sasoun", implement shift of power and key reforms in the country.

He also stated that the authorities attempted to threaten the members of "Daredevils of Sasoun", sending helicopters from Russian military base, which were flying today over the seized building. "There was even information spread that President of Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov intends to send Chechen military groups to support the Armenian authorities. The Armenian authorities should refute this information and promise that no foreign soldier will fight against the Armenian nation", he stated.  Supporter of the Daredevils of Sasoun group Aleq Yenigomshyan stated in turn that the rebels have been deprived of food, water, electricity and communication means for already two days.  "However, they are not going to refuse from their demand of resignation of the current authorities", he stated stressing that the task number one is to ensure contact with the leader of rebels, arrested Zhirayr Sefilyan, who is also kept in complete isolation. 

Yenigomshyan reminded that they have given the authorities time till 8:00pm for ensuring the members of Daredevils of Sasoun with food, water and medicine, otherwise the activists will start actions of disobedience. "The time is up and we will inform about our steps in the upcoming minutes", he stated adding that the International Committee of the Red Cross based on its Charter refused to provide food to the rebels. "In this light we should apply to the international and local law enforcement organizations, diplomatic missions accredited to Armenia for defending the rights of the members of Daredevils of Sasoun group", Yenigomshyan stated informing that today activist of the Founding Parliament Suzan Simonyan has been detained, while few days ago brother of one of the rebels Araik Khondoyan was also detained. 

"We will continue our work till the end but we do not intend to confront with police but if the Police initiate any clashes we will react adequately", Yenigomshyan stated, adding that the Police do not allow MP from Heritage Party Zaruhi Postanjyan and human rights defender Larisa Alaverdyan to take food to the members of the Daredevils of Sasoun group. 

Armen Martirosyan in turn informed that inhabitants of various regions of Armenia as well as representatives of the Armenian communities from various countries of the world have expressed their solidarity to the activists from Yerevan.
