

On June 11 Armenia's President Serzh Sargsyan visited Russia's Embassy to Armenia on occasion of the state holiday of the Russian Federation-Russia Day. He congratulated Ambassador Ivan Volinkin and all the employees of the Embassy and whished prosperity and well-being to all Russian people. Serzh Sargsyan also attended special cultural event prepared by the Embassy staff, the press-service of the Armenian President informs.
Armenia's President sent congratulatory messages to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
In congratulatory message addressed to the Russian President Serzh Sargsyan noted with satisfaction that Armenian-Russian allied cooperation is being demonstrated both on bilateral interstate level and within international and regional unions. "I am sure that due to combined efforts we will be able to contribute to further development of relations in all the fields between our countries and to implementation of reached agreements aimed at ensuring development in conditions of stability and security" the congratulatory message reads.
In congratulatory message addressed to Prime Minister Medvedev Sargsyan noted that this significant day is related to deep reforms in all the fields of Russia's activities aimed at raising prosperity of the Russian citizens and strengthening of the country's role on the international platform.
