Armenia's Civil Aviation has new chief

Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan has appointed Sergey Avetisyan as Chief of the Main Department of Civil Aviation, attached to the Government of Armenia, the Government's press-office told ArmInfo.

Sergey Avetisyan was born in 1981 in Yerevan. He graduated from the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University, Institute of the Economic Studies, the Finance Ministry of Armenia, the National University of Singapore, Ph.D. in Economics. In 2003-2009, Avetisyan worked at the Central Bank of Armenia as controller. In 2009-2014, he headed the Culture Ministry Staff. Non-party man. Married. Sergey Avetisyan was Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia since February 2014.
