

Military attache of the Iranian Embassy in Armenia, Colonel Hussein Vahid Sheikh has been invited to the Defense Ministry of Armenia.
As the press-service of the Defense Ministry informed ArmInfo, the Deputy Defense Minsiter David Tonoyan received the attache and discussed with him the information, according to which allegedly three shells of the Armenian Armed Forces fired in the Karabakh conflict zone exploded near an Iranian village. During the meeting the attache did not confirm the information that there are wounded people in upper Kolibeghlu village as a result of the explosion. However, he informed that the Iranian side has applied to the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides asking them to be maximally attentive and avoid such incidents.
Defining the location of the village the Armenian side informs that it is located in the rear of the Armed Forces of Artsakh consequently the artillery shell from this side is unlikely. Moreover, during the meeting it was noted that these actions remind a provocation and are not in the interests of the Armenian side.
The interlocutors also agreed to continue meetings in order to prevent spreading of misinformation. Besides, Defense Army of Artsakh will additionally study this incident and inform about it the Iranian side.
