


The House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus adopted in the first reading a bill "On Approval of Military Doctrine of the Republic of Belarus".
Defense Minister of Belarus Andrey Ravkov says that the new military doctrine of the CSTO member state implies a ban on the participation of the Belarusian army in the armed operations abroad. "There will never be such participation in the military operations abroad," the minister says.
To note, Belarus is a CSTO member state along with Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
