CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha held negotiations with Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan. The negotiations covered the escalation in the Karabakh conflict zone, CSTO Spokesman Vladimir Zaynetdinov told Interfax-AVN, without specifying the details.
Zaynetdinov said that Azerbaijan's actions are aggravating the situation in Karabakh. "Everything should be settled by means of negotiations," he noted. The CSTO Spokesman also stressed that Bordyuzha and the CSTO Secretariat are in constant touch with the Armenian leadership. "We have received comprehensive information about the armed clashes from the Defense Ministry of the republic. We think that the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict can have no military solution," Zaynetdinov said.
