Baku and Ankara's Positions in Fight against Terrorism Same - Cavusoglu

In the matter of the fight against terrorism there is no disagreement between Turkey and Azerbaijan. This was stated by the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu at today's press conference in Baku with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov.  At the same time, the Turkish minister said that Turkey will continue to fight against the Kurdish terrorist groups.  For Ankara there is no difference between the PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party) and the PYD-YPG (armed group of Syrian Kurds). "Rid the country of terrorists is a natural right of any state," he said.  "We will continue our struggle until the last terrorist. In this issue there is no disagreement with Azerbaijan," Cavusoglu said.  He also noted that he discussed with Mammadyarov a number of joint projects between the two countries, including the construction of the railway Baku-Tbilisi-Kars. "We work together with Azerbaijan on all issues, including the Nagorno-Karabakh problem," Cavusoglu said.  Recalling that February 26 is the anniversary of the Khojaly tragedy, he condemned the massacre of Azerbaijanis by Armenians.
