Artak Zakaryan: Azerbaijan is just trying to conceal political texts in context of humanitarian ideas

What refers to Milica Markovich's report, I am confident that the Azerbaijani is not interested in water at all, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly for Foreign Relations, Artak Zakaryan wrote on his Facebook page. 

"Azerbaijan is just trying to conceal political texts in the context of humanitarian ideas, which in one word is called forgery. I am hopeful that the adopted resolution will not obstruct the further works and efforts of OSCE Minsk Group towards peaceful settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict", the MP stated.

To note, PACE has approved the resolution entitled "Inhabitants of frontier regions of Azerbaijan are deliberately deprived of water" (rapporteur Milica Markovic, Bosnia and Herzegovina) on January 26.  Introducing the reports, Markovic said the territory of the Sarsang reservoir is controlled by Armenia, meantime "it is the territory of Azerbaijan." She blamed the Armenian side for deliberately depriving the Azerbaijani settlements of the water from Sarsang, which affects the agriculture, flora and fauna.
