Four face charges over death of Armenia frontier guard

Charges have been brought against four people over the death of Gevorg Khacvhatyan, Armenian private of the National Security Service Frontier Troops.  

On November 28 at about 10:50pm, frontier guard Gevorg Khachatryan was taken to the medical point after receiving gunshot wound on the parental bone. The medical point registered his biological death.  According to the Investigation Committee, soldiers of the same military unit: captain Voskanyan, senior lieutenant Vardevanyan, privates Muradyan and Sargsyan were arrested as part of the preliminary investigation.  

Captain Voskanyan is charged with Article 364.1.2 (Participation in or organization of gambling by a serviceman), Article 375.1 (abuse, excess of power or inaction) and Article 360.2 (insulting a serviceman) of the Criminal Code of Armenia. 
Senior lieutenant Vardevanyan is charged with Article 375.1 and private Muradyan is charged with Article 364.1, Article 359.1 (violation of normal drill) and Article 360.1 (insulting a serviceman). 

Private Sargsyan faced charged based on Article 359.1 of the Criminal Code of Armenia.
