At the end of October 2015 with the winners of the IV International journalists contest "Technology for Life - Internet at speed of light" Haykuhi Asatryan, the journalist from Armenia, visited China. Rostelecom organized the project in cooperation with Huawei and with the informational support of leading regional media.
As the company's press-service reports, during the press tour, journalists visited the headquarters of Huawei in Shenzhen, the factory for the production of telecommunication equipments, got acquainted with the recent advanced developments of Huawei. Bloggers and representatives of media had a meeting with the Vice president of corporate communications of Huawei, Glenn Schloss and technical director of Carrier Business Group of Huawei, Professor of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Professor Wang Tszikui. The trip to Hong Kong accomplished the impressions about China.
"For journalists covering the IT sphere it is very important to see what they write. It was very interesting to learn about the production process of Huawei and its technologies. For me as a journalist, it was important to see the experience accumulated at Huawei. But much more important was to know what awaits us in the future, namely 5G technology, smart houses, streets and entire cities, being in the center of events, to learn and to see the development and to increase the knowledge about IT. And I am very glad that I have got the opportunity to visit the "2020" with such an interesting team," Armenia TV journalist Haykuhi Asatryan, the winner of the competition in the category "Radio and Television", shared her impressions about the visit to China.
To recall, the project "Technology for life" was held to get the attention of Media and bloggers on objective and better coverage of innovative technologies and services and their applications in different spheres of society. The project involves more than 500 media representatives from Russia and now from Armenia as well.
