


Police of Armenia was notified that Lusine Abovyan, inhabitant of Noyemberyan town, left home around 12:00pm and did not come back, the press- service of the Armenia's police informed ArmInfo.
At the same time Zara Amatuni, Head of Communication and Prevention Programmes at the ICRC Yerevan Office, has told ArmInfo that ICRC has no information related to the capture of an Armenian citizen. According to her the organization will be able to deal with this issue, only when it has a written request on person's gone missing and an official confirmation of Azerbaijan's side.
To note, as Trend informs, citing the Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry, inhabitant of Noyemberyan town of Armenia Lusine Abovyan (born in 1942) violated the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border in the direction of the Gazakh region on November 8 and was detained by the Azerbaijani armed forces. "The Armenian citizen is being treated in accordance with the international law. After the appropriate procedures, she will be handed over to the opposite side", the statement says.
