
Rostelecom has organized Blitz Chess Tournament for the second time, held in in Vanadzor 's Youth Sport School on October 17.
As the Company's press-service reports, 43 young chess players, who had passed the qualifier stage, participated in the tournament. Sargis Sargsyan (12 years old) won in the male competition as a result of 9 stages. Qristine Smbatyan (13 years old) won the female competition. Hasmik Qochinyan (10 years old), who was the 5th in European Chess Championship, was also awarded with the joint decision of Rostelecom and the Sport School's council. The official part was followed with a concert. The program was concluded by a movie, which was broadcasted by Rostelecom with YouTube application.
To note, Rstelecom has provided the Vanadzor 's Youth Sport School with free Internet connection since 2014.
