The most active member of the 7th session of the Armenian Parliament is Heghine Bisharyan, Head of the Orinats Yerkir faction, Lusine Vasilyan, Head of National Assembly Monitoring Project, said on September 10.
She pointed out that for the first time over the past few sessions Artsvik Minasyan, member of ARF Dashnaktsutyun faction, has yielded the leadership to Bisharyan. In this light, the expert pointed out that the active steps of Orinats Yerkir Party are unprecedented and break a record as compared to the same party's steps at the previous sessions of the Parliament. "During this session, the Orinats Yerkir Party came out with 105 speeches and raised 109 questions, whereas during the third session, when it was a member of the ruling coalition, the number of the questions and speeches was 24," said Vasilyan.
The expert noted that like in the previous report ex-leader of Prosperous Armenia Party Gagik Tsarukyan breaks all records by his absence from the Parliament's sessions. She said most of the "contra" votes came from oppositionist Nikol Pashinyan, while most of the "pro" votes were from Mnatsakan Mnatsakanyan, a member of the Republican Party of Armenia, and most of the abstentions came from ARF Dashnaktsutyun member Aghvan Vardanyan.
