Exhibition Dedicated to Centennial of Armenian Genocide Opens in Estonia

An
exhibition entitled "Armenian Genocide: Front Page Coverage in the World
Press" opened at National Library of Estonia. The Armenian delegation led
by vice speaker of Armenian Parliament Edward Sharmazanov was present at the
opening ceremony.


Sharmazanov
delivered a speech particularly expressed regret on Turkey's negation of the
Armenian Genocide. Instead of recognizing the latter and mending relations with
Armenia Turkey keeps blockading Armenia for 20 years.  He also spoke of Turkey's failure in the ratification process of
the Armenian- Turkish reconciliation, linking it to Karabakh conflict.


Estonian Parliament representatives and other
officials, as well as Ambassador to Baltic countires Ara Aivazian were present
at the opening ceremony.
