Head of Frontier Department: The faster Artur Afyan returns to service, the more loyal justice he will face

 The faster lance-corporal Artur Afyan returns to service, the more loyal justice he will face, Vyacheslav Biryukov, Head of the Frontier Department of the Russian Federal Security Service in Armenia, told journalists in Yerevan on Friday. 

He said that Afyan approved himself in the course of the service and there were no complaints against him.   

"It has been found out in a talk with Afyan's relatives that he had big debts. I think this was the reason of his disappearance. I hope he will come back safe and sound", said Biryukov.  

To recall, 26-year-old contract serviceman, citizen of Armenia Artur Afyan disappeared on February 21.  He has been searched for since his wife applied to the Frontier Department and the Police of Armenia.   

The search is still underway. The Investigative Committee of Armenia has already instituted a criminal case.
