


Armenian President Serzh Sargsyuan has extended his condolences for the death of six- month-old Seryozha Avetisyan.
"We have failed to save his life despite the efforts of professional doctors from Armenia and Russia.
It was our last hope after the crime in Gyumri. Now it is gone. I would like to extend my condolences to the relatives of the Avetisyan family, the Gyumri residents and the whole Armenian people. We must be strong. We must live and seek justice as there is no alternative to life," the Armenian President said.
Seryozha Avetisyan, six-month baby injured in Gyumri on Jan 12, died on Monday at 5:02 PM. According to Armenia's Health Care Ministry, the baby underwent two surgeries but on Monday his kidneys failed again. Doctors from Armenia and Russia fought for his life but in vain. Six members of Seryozha's family were killed in Gyumri on Jan 12.
