The mayor`s office will increase penalties for illegal removal of construction waste.

ArmInfo. The Yerevan City Hall will tighten penalties for illegally removing construction waste. Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan announced this during a working meeting of the Yerevan City Hall on November 2.

He recalled that the current fine for disposing of construction waste in household containers is 30,000 drams. However, the mayor noted that it could be tightened further by raising the fine threshold.

Furthermore, Avinyan announced that starting next year, special containers for construction waste will be placed in designated locations around the city. According to him, 50 such containers have already been purchased, and another 50 are planned for the near future.
