Representatives of the Strong Armenia faction discussed the domestic political situation in the country with the Canadian Ambassador.

ArmInfo. Narek Karapetyan, head of the Strong Armenia parliamentary faction, Aram Vardevanyan, Vice Speaker of Parliament, as well as faction members Liana Manukyan and Ruben Mkhitaryan, met with Canadian Ambassador to Armenia Julie Crowley to discuss the country's domestic political situation.

According to the press service of the National Assembly of Armenia, the opposition faction members presented their observations and concerns regarding the level of democracy in the country and the independence of the judiciary to the ambassador, and discussed relations between the opposition and the government in parliament.

During the meeting, Karapetyan also emphasized the importance of deepening Armenian-Canadian relations and expanding cooperation. The faction leader emphasized the need to develop cooperation in education, economics, and healthcare. The parties emphasized the role of friendship groups in strengthening interparliamentary ties.

They also touched on regional developments. In particular, the parties paid attention to the process of establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
