According to the source, the decision to schedule the hearing was made on October 29, 2026. "The Supreme Judicial Council has decided to schedule a hearing to consider the petition for disciplinary action against Judge Hakob Manukyan for November 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.," the decision states.
As a reminder, on August 7, 2026, Judge Hakob Manukyan, who was scheduled to chair the first hearing in the case of His Holiness Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II and six bishops—members of the Supreme Spiritual Council—recused himself. It is noteworthy that several other judges subsequently declined to hear the case against the Catholicos of All Armenians.
