ArmInfo. The court has decided to extend the detention of former Finance Minister and former head of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia Gagik Khachatryan for another two months. His lawyer, Yerem Sargsyan, told reporters this.
According to the lawyer, all previously imposed restrictions remain in place with one exception: his wife and daughter will be able to visit him in the penitentiary. He noted that the court's decision had not yet been presented to them, and he would be able to say anything more only after reviewing it.
"What happened yesterday during the court hearing made it obvious that the only legal solution would be to refuse to extend the arrest, or at worst, house arrest," he noted.
