ArmInfo. RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation from Saudi Arabia, led by Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal Al Saud.

According to the government's press service, the Prime Minister welcomed Abdulaziz bin Talal Al Saud's visit to Armenia and emphasized the importance of holding the Prince Talal International Humanitarian Award ceremony in Yerevan this year. "This is very good and pleasant news for us. We know that this is a very prestigious award, and this evening I will also participate in the ceremony, which is a great honor for me. You know that COP-17 is taking place in Armenia. Biodiversity and sustainable development issues are becoming increasingly important for each of us. I hope that through international cooperation, we can find a solution to this global problem. "Welcome, I would like to hear your impressions and your assessment of the current situation," Nikol Pashinyan noted.

The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and noted: "This is my second visit to Armenia in the last two years. Frankly, every time I come to Armenia, I long to return. I try to bring my wife and family to Armenia as well, not only to get to know the country, its remarkable culture, and centuries-old history, but also to identify projects that we can jointly implement in Armenia. Of course, holding the Prince Talal International Human Development Award ceremony in Armenia is very important to us. Armenia has gone through a number of milestones over the years, and today we are pleased to see what it has achieved. It is also very important that COP-17 is taking place here." Abdulaziz bin Talal Al Saud discussed the Prince Talal International Human Development Award and the goals of the award ceremony.

The two discussed prospects for the further development of Armenian-Saudi relations. The parties attached great importance to the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and expressed confidence that this will give new impetus to the development of cooperation and the expansion of ties in various fields. They also exchanged views on the possibilities of implementing investment projects in Armenia.

Nikol Pashinyan and Abdulaziz bin Talal Al Saud also addressed issues of regional significance. Both sides emphasized the importance of establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan and strengthening stability in the region.
