Edgar Arakelyan assumed office as a member of the National Assembly

ArmInfo. Edgar Arakelyan has assumed office as a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia from the ruling Civil Contract faction.

He took the oath of office at the October 28 NA session.

Edgar Arakelyan will replace Lilit Minasyan, who resigned her parliamentary mandate due to her expected appointment as governor of Armenia's Kotayk Province. The newly elected parliamentarian previously served as a member of the National Assembly, but resigned in 2019.
