Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Alen Simonyan and a delegation led by Gert Jan Koopman, Director General of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR), emphasized the importance of consistently developing relations between Armenia and the European Union at a meeting in Yerevan.

According to the press service of the Security Council of Armenia, in this regard, the interlocutors focused on the diversification of the Armenian economy and strengthening its resilience.

Progress on democratic reforms and other issues of regional significance were also discussed.
