Ruling faction MP Lilit Stepanyan will be appointed governor of Kotayk province, Pashinyan said.

ArmInfo. Armenian National Assembly member Lilit Stepanyan, a member of the ruling Civil Contract faction, will resign her mandate and be appointed governor of the Kotayk region. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this on his Telegram channel.

The corresponding decision, as the Armenian Prime Minister noted, was made at a regular meeting of the Civil Contract party board. "Lilit Stepanyan will resign her mandate as a member of the National Assembly and will be appointed governor of the Kotayk region," Pashinyan wrote.
