"Of course, the political dialogue between our countries has traditionally been at a high level and continues to be so." Today, during our meeting and negotiations, we are discussing how to intensify our bilateral economic relations. We are also following the economic processes taking place in Kyrgyzstan with great interest. The projects you are implementing seem to be aimed at achieving a common goal: creating new trade routes. I believe our projects can be integrated, as a result of the implementation of the TRIPP project and regional development, I believe the transport infrastructure in our region will open in the near future," the Armenian Prime Minister said. In turn, Japarov congratulated the Armenian side on the successful holding of the Leaders' Summit within the framework of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity. The event was well-organized and ensured broad international representation. "In recent years, under your leadership, Armenia has achieved significant results in socioeconomic development and the implementation of important reforms. It is gratifying to see the stable growth of the Armenian economy. I would especially like to commend your efforts to create an atmosphere of friendship and good-neighborliness in the South Caucasus. I am convinced that peace and stability are the main conditions for improving the well-being of the peoples of the entire region. Kyrgyzstan and Armenia are united not only by friendly relations, but also by mutual respect for the historical and cultural heritage of our peoples," said the head of Kyrgyzstan. He expressed confidence that the rich cultural heritage is a solid foundation for mutual understanding between the peoples of the two countries. Japarov also expressed confidence that this visit will be an important step towards strengthening direct ties between the two countries. He noted that there is significant potential for developing practical cooperation in trade, transport, agriculture, information technology, education, and tourism. One important outcome of the talks will be the signing of a broad package of documents, including issues of movement and residence of citizens, pensions, education, science, personal data protection, as well as a number of other areas of cooperation. "I expect that today's meeting will provide an opportunity to meaningfully discuss current issues and outline concrete steps. I am confident that the agreements reached will give new impetus to relations between Kyrgyzstan and Armenia and strengthen the friendship between our peoples," Japarov added.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the further development and expansion of bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, and humanitarian spheres. The importance of taking consistent steps to deepen trade and economic ties was emphasized.
