ArmInfo. The European Union Delegation to Armenia, together with Armenian judicial institutions, international partners, and the EU technical assistance team, participated in the event marking the completion of the EU-funded project "Support to Judicial Reforms in Armenia: Phase II."
According to the EU Delegation's press service, the project, which ran from May 2024 to May 2026, delivered 37 training courses and workshops, reaching over 1,200 judicial professionals and stakeholders. More than 33 analytical and information materials were also developed to support evidence-based policymaking and institutional development.
The project also organized seven international study tours, two EU-Armenia Strategic Policy Dialogues on Justice, and a donor coordination meeting. It is noted that these events contributed to the development of professional capacity, deepening political dialogue, and strengthening cooperation between Armenia and its European partners.
"These results lay an important foundation for the further development of a more effective, accountable, and citizen-oriented justice system. The European Union remains committed to supporting reforms in Armenia, strengthening the rule of law, advancing anti-corruption measures, and protecting fundamental human rights. Our partnership continues beyond the completion of this program," the EU Delegation stated.
