ArmInfo. A delegation led by Deputy Minister of Defense of Armenia Karen Brutyan has been on a working visit to Washington since October 11.

According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Defense, on October 12, a delegation from the Armenian Foreign Ministry participated in the official opening ceremony of the annual exhibition and conference "America's Army: Foundation of the Joint Force," organized by the Association of the United States Army (AUSA), and toured the exhibition pavilions.

"America's Army: Foundation of the Joint Force" is the official theme of the 2026 AUSA Annual Conference and Exhibition, taking place from October 12-14, 2026, in Washington, D.C. The theme emphasizes the central role of the U.S. Army as the foundational foundation of the Joint Force, providing logistics, medical support, communications, and land resilience for operations at sea, in the air, in space, and in cyberspace. The event attracted more than 40,000 attendees, over 750 exhibitors from over 100 countries, and senior U.S. Army leaders. Topics include modernization for future conflicts, the introduction of autonomous systems and drones, counter-UAV countermeasures, precision-guided munitions, and acquisition reform.
