


ArmInfo. Newly appointed Norwegian Ambassador to Armenia, Lisa Nordgaard, presented copies of her credentials to Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan.
According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, Kostanyan congratulated Nordgaard on the beginning of her diplomatic mission and wished her success in her responsible duties.
During the meeting, the interlocutors noted with satisfaction the intensification of political dialogue and the expansion of high-level contacts between Armenia and Norway in recent years, emphasizing the importance of further deepening the bilateral partnership both bilaterally and within the framework of the Armenia-Northern Europe and Baltic countries cooperation format.
Kostanyan highly praised the effective cooperation established with Norway in the run-up to the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), which will be held in Armenia.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to intensifying trade and economic ties. The interlocutors discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest and outlined prospects for further collaboration in this area.
