The prosecutor`s office is demanding the return of a kindergarten to Dilijan that was illegally acquired by the Armenian ambassador to Russia

ArmInfo. The Prosecutor's Office filed a lawsuit to return the building of the former kindergarten #9 to the Dilijan community. This was reported in a statement by the press service of the RA Prosecutor General's Office.

According to the source, as a result of an investigation conducted within the framework of its authority to protect state (community) interests, on September 22, 2026, the Tavush Regional Prosecutor's Office filed a lawsuit in the Anti-Corruption Court against Arsoil Joint-Stock Company and an individual, demanding that the auction for the sale of the former building of kindergarten #9, located at the address: Dilijan, 37 Gaia Street, and apply the consequences of invalidity by seizing the property from the illegal possession of another person.

By the decision of the Anti-Corruption Court of October 2, 2026, the prosecutor's office's claim was accepted for review, and enforcement measures were applied. Any actions that could lead to a change in the actual or legal status of the property, including the alienation or pledging of said property in any form, are prohibited.

It should be noted that this kindergarten was previously privatized by Gurgen Arsenyan, the current Ambassador of Armenia to the Russian Federation. Arsoil CJSC was founded in 1997. The company is temporarily closed. Arsoil is an Armenian-Cypriot joint venture engaged in the import and wholesale of tobacco products.
