Representatives of the Armenia faction discussed domestic political processes in the country with the US Embassy Chargé d`Affaires.

ArmInfo. Anna Grigoryan, head of the Armenia parliamentary faction, faction secretary Artur Khachatryan, and MP Levon Kocharyan discussed domestic political developments in the country at a meeting with David Allen, Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Armenia.

According to the press service of the Armenian parliament, in particular, the faction representatives presented their observations on freedom of speech, the rule of law, and the protection of human rights. Issues related to deepening Armenian-American relations and expanding cooperation were also discussed during the meeting.

"The MPs expressed concern about what they believe are a number of criminal prosecutions and a rollback of democratic processes. The parties also exchanged views on the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and discussed the "Trump's Route to International Peace and Prosperity" project.
