ArmInfo. While Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is weakening the Armenian state from within, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is doing the same from without. This was stated by Tigran Abrahamyan, Secretary of the Strong Armenia faction, at a parliamentary briefing on October 8.
That is, as the opposition faction secretary clarified, Aliyev continues to demand concessions from Armenia, while Pashinyan continues to make them. "Thus, the Armenian prime minister is weakening the country from within, and Aliyev is weakening it from without," Abrahamyan noted.
In this regard, he assured that their faction, regardless of the situation, will continue to seek an end to this endless series of concessions. In this regard, he announced that they will soon present a program called "Peace Without Concessions," which they will discuss in detail in the coming weeks.
Speaking about the steps their faction is currently taking, given their failure to achieve a change of power through elections, Abrahamyan noted that they have repeatedly presented the tactics of their political force. According to him, they are currently waging an institutional struggle in the Armenian parliament. "One of the results of this tactic was the publication in September of a report by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on the June parliamentary elections. The report documented unprecedented violations that occurred throughout the electoral process. As for our struggle as a whole, we previously presented its general model. It will include an institutional struggle in the Armenian parliament, as well as a street struggle, which we are confident will be victorious," Abrahamyan concluded.
