According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, this includes, in particular, the development of cooperation in organizing joint sports events, as well as major regional and international sporting events.
Gogoladze noted that he had received an invitation from Armenia to participate in the 10th International Sports and Cultural Games of Francophonie, which will be held in 2027, and expressed readiness to discuss issues related to Georgia's participation.
Andreasyan emphasized that Armenia attaches great importance to Georgia's participation in the Francophonie Games, noting that such events are an important platform for both developing sports cooperation and strengthening ties between the youth of the two countries and expanding friendly relations. relations.
The parties also emphasized the importance of jointly hosting the 2029 FIFA U-20 World Cup, noting that this is not only a major sporting event for Armenia and Georgia, but also an important opportunity to develop cooperation, exchange experiences, and strengthen regional partnerships.
