


ArmInfo. As part of her working visit to Georgia, Armenian Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan met with Georgian Minister of Culture Maia Bitadze today.
According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, Andreasyan expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and for the support in organizing the Armenian Cultural Days in Georgia. She emphasized the importance of further expanding cooperation between Armenia and Georgia in the field of culture, as well as the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage.
Andreasyan also noted the importance of opening the conceptual retrospective exhibition "Yervand Kochar. Multifaceted Genius" in Georgia as part of the Armenian Cultural Days. at the Dimitri Shevardnadze National Gallery of the National Museum of Georgia.
Touching on the topic of expanding cooperation in the museum sector, the Armenian official emphasized the importance of strengthening ties and developing cooperation between the national museums of the two countries, proposing to organize joint exhibitions.
The parties also emphasized the importance of developing cooperation in contemporary art and cinema and implementing joint programs, and confirmed their readiness to continue close cooperation in the field of culture and implement joint initiatives.
