
ArmInfo. The Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of Armenia, Zhanna Andreasyan, attended the gala concert dedicated to the opening of the Armenian-British Business Forum at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of Armenia, the forum, held in Yerevan on October 5-6, brought together leading representatives of business, public administration, finance, education, and technology from Armenia and the United Kingdom.
Also present at the event were the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Alexandra Cole, President of the Oxford Alumni Business Club of Armenia, Alexander Shahikyan, and forum participants and guests.
Welcoming those gathered, Andreasyan emphasized that great music is an expression of mutual understanding, friendship, and cooperation between countries.
"Business, education, science, and "Although culture and culture are different spheres, they actually have one important thing in common: they create connections, build trust, and open new avenues of cooperation," said the head of the Armenian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, emphasizing that the Armenian-British cultural dialogue is developing and producing results. Andreasyan also noted that Armenia actively collaborates with leading educational institutions in the United Kingdom: the University of the Arts London (UAL), the University College London Institute of Education (UCL IOE), and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS). The collaboration is based on the development of arts and education cluster concepts within the Academic City program.
The concert program featured works by renowned British composer Edward Edgar performed by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Dr. Markos Hatsadoulavoru, with the participation of world-renowned cellist Guy Johnston.
The Armenian-British Business Forum brings together business leaders, investors, politicians, and innovators on a single platform, facilitating the establishment of new business connections and the development of long-term partnerships.
