


ArmInfo. Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan reported on the condition of the woman who received a gunshot wound from an Azerbaijani serviceman yesterday in the village of Shaki in the Syunik region.
According to her, the woman's condition is stable and she is receiving the necessary medical care. "There is no threat to her life," the Minister of Health noted. The children's condition, Avanesyan reported, is assessed as satisfactory. "They received the necessary psychological and medical care," the Minister said.
As a reminder, on October 1 at 2:15 PM, the 112 Operations Control Center received a call. The Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report that an Azerbaijani shot an Armenian citizen in the leg in the village of Shaki in the Syunik region.
Operational teams from various police units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs responded to the scene. Urgent measures were taken to clarify all the circumstances of the incident. It was established that the crime was committed by an Azerbaijani serviceman, who was detained.
"Details of the incident were also presented to the Azerbaijani side. The Investigative Committee of Armenia has opened a criminal investigation into the incident," the National Security Service of Armenia previously reported.
