


ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is participating in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EIGC) taking place in the Belarusian capital via videoconference, a TASS correspondent reports.
The EIGC meeting, held in a restricted format, began in Minsk on October 2. The heads of government of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan are present. The Armenian Prime Minister is participating via videoconference.
Later that day, an expanded meeting of the Council will be held.

At the current meeting of the intergovernmental council, the heads of government plan to pay special attention to cooperation in the field of logistics. In particular, they intend to update the list of priority integration projects in this area and discuss the development of electronic document management at maritime checkpoints. Another topic is food security, which they plan to ensure by strengthening ties in the agricultural sector of the EAEU countries.
