As a result of the intervention of the prosecutor`s office, the Gidroshinarner Park of the Sisian community was fully returned to the ownership of the community

ArmInfo.  As a result of the intervention of the prosecutor's office, the "Hydroshinarner" park of the Sisian community was fully returned to the ownership of the community. This was stated in a statement by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia.

According to the source, the Syunik regional prosecutor's office, within the framework of its authority to protect state (community) interests, checked the legality of the documents on the transfer of a 10,000 square meter plot of land in the "Hydroshinarner" park of the town of Sisian, Sisian community, Syunik region, to a private individual.  The investigation revealed that on September 16, 2003, the entire territory of the park, occupying an area of 10,000 square meters, was leased to a private individual for 50 years with the right to improve and plant landscaping, however, due to the inaction of the developer; The park has fallen into disrepair.

The prosecutor petitioned the head of the Sisian community to take measures to terminate the lease agreement concluded between the Sisian community and the lessee. Based on the petition, and following measures taken by the competent authorities of the Sisian community, on September 30, 2026, the Cadastre Committee terminated the private individual's lease to the 10,000 square meter park. The park, whose cadastral value was 30 million drams, approximately equal to its market value, was returned in full to the Sisian community.
