Tragic incident in Yerevan: 3 people died during the dismantling of a crane

ArmInfo. On September 29 at 14:10, the operational control center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report that a construction crane partially collapsed and fell near one of the buildings on P. Tychyna Street in Yerevan during construction work.

According to a statement by the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, three people were killed as a result, according to preliminary data.

According to information on shamshyan.com, police officers, fire and rescue units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as patrol service officers, arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area.

An investigative group has been formed and criminal proceedings have been initiated in connection with the incident.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the construction crane belonged to the company <Shin Vector>, which was not involved in the construction of the building in question. Today, company employees arrived to dismantle the crane, resulting in the tragic incident.

According to information circulating in the media, two of the deceased were citizens of Iran and one of Armenia.-
