On September 29, speaking to journalists in Yerevan about Iran's Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, he stated that during the very difficult months of spring, when Rosatom evacuated hundreds of people from Iran under fire, fighting for the lives of literally every person, Armenia provided the opportunity to evacuate buses across its border with Iran, evacuate people, and hold a comfortable meeting there, waiting for flights, and waiting for planes.

"We are very grateful for this hand of friendship, the helping hand you extended to us during the escalation of the regional conflict." We're now moving in the opposite direction, returning to the plant. 80 people are already working directly on the construction of two units—the second and third at Bushehr—and we will continue to increase our workforce to the planned level. Construction is picking up steam, and the site is beginning to gain momentum. Of course, peace hasn't yet been achieved, but we believe we're moving toward full-scale development of the construction project. Moreover, our cooperation with Iran isn't limited to the Bushehr plant; we're exploring a number of new sites, both for high-power and low-power units," he said.

It's worth noting that following the US-Israeli attack on Iran, Rosatom was forced to evacuate its employees from the Bushehr NPP. The evacuation was carried out in several stages through the territory of Armenia.
