ArmInfo. Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Ruben Rubinyan will participate in the European Conference of Speakers of Parliament, which will be held in Rome. This was reported in a statement by the press service of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.

Along with the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, NA MP Arman Yeghoyan and members of the NA staff will also travel to the Italian capital. The Armenian delegation will be in Italy from October 14 to 16.

The upcoming event is organized by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) jointly with the parliament of the host country (Italy). Heads and speakers of parliamentary delegations from Council of Europe member states are expected to participate. Discussions will focus on the protection of democracy, human rights, the rule of law, and strengthening interparliamentary cooperation in the European region.
