A meeting with the EPP delegation was held in the Armenian Parliament

ArmInfo. On September 24, RA National Assembly Speaker Ruben Rubinyan received a delegation led by Dolores Montserrat, Secretary General of the European People's Party (EPP).

According to the NA press service, during the meeting, an exchange of views took place on Armenia's European aspirations and the further development of institutional relations with the European Union.

The reform program for the next five years, its priorities, and opportunities for cooperation in these areas were also discussed.

On the same day, the EPP delegation met with members of the NA from the ruling Civil Contract faction. Deepening cooperation with the EPP in various formats was discussed.

The guests were interested in the specifics of electoral processes in Armenia, reforms to the Electoral Code and the Law on Parties, financial transparency of parties, and the issue of women's participation in parties.

Faction members discussed the country's European aspirations and touched upon the issue of holding internal party elections. The importance of creating a gender-sensitive environment was emphasized.

Discussion participants praised the advancement of democratic programs and the reforms aimed at achieving them.
