The prosecutor presented the materials of the criminal case against the director of Armenikum CJSC to the Anti-Corruption Court

ArmInfo. On September 22, the prosecutor submitted criminal case materials to the Anti-Corruption Court against A.M., Director of Armenikum CJSC, accused of attempting to commit

large-scale fraud and submitting false evidence to the court. This was stated in a statement by the RA Prosecutor General's Office.

During the criminal investigation conducted by the Investigative Committee, it was revealed that A.M., while serving as Director of Armenikum CJSC from 1998 to 2023, prepared false minutes of the shareholders' meeting of Armenikum+ CJSC without holding a shareholders' meeting. The minutes included false information about the participation of the company's shareholders, the minutes were submitted to the competent state body, and A.M. illegally assumed the position of General Director of Armenikum+ CJSC. Then, with the initial intention of embezzling a particularly large sum of money from Armenikum CJSC, founded in the Republic of Armenia and 100% owned by the Republic of Armenia, and based on other false information related to the accounting statements, in order to present the financial transactions as real and confirmed, on November 27, 2025, through a lawyer, he filed a lawsuit in the Yerevan City Civil Court of First Instance, demanding the recovery of 1 billion 500 million 770 thousand drams from the state in favor of Armenikum+ CJSC.

On September 11, 2026, the prosecutor initiated a criminal case against A.M. In accordance with the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, he transferred the materials of the criminal proceedings with the indictment to the Anti-Corruption Court. It should be noted that, in addition to other procedural actions, as a result of the application of the Eurasian Justice tools; During the preliminary investigation, data was obtained confirming the factual circumstances underlying the charges. The prosecutor's office sent notifications to the competent government agencies regarding the registration of the director of Armenikum+ CJSC and the implementation of the procedure for recognizing the evidence presented in the civil case as illegal.
